There are times we limit our expectations of God’s abilities because they are nothing like what we have experienced.

As imperfect people living in an imperfect world, we often grow accustomed to being in a state of dissatisfaction and struggle. If we remain in the stress loop for too long, a pattern of cynicism can emerge.

Cynicism may breed a lifestyle of doubt and disappointment.

Just because we don’t want to believe something doesn’t mean it isn’t real. God is not limited by our imagination or constrained by what we are willing to consider.

It requires deliberate and disciplined focus to believe things could work out better than we can imagine — that an option or opportunity beyond our capabilities might reveal itself as reality.

We must renew our verve and not grow weary in pursuing God’s best for our lives.

The Holy Spirit can help us actively seek discernment and recognize the wolf from the sheep. In this, we will see what truly stands before us on the battlefield, knowing we are protected and sanctified by the blood of Christ, hemmed in grace and mercy, and fortified in bold faith.

Praise God, the holder and giver of ultimate victory!

Christ wore a crown of thorns so we could eternally worship the King.

Christ’s one-for-all, one-time sacrifice to vanquish the sting of death released us from the permanent bondage of sin and shame.

While salvation is a one-time event, sanctification is a continuing process. This process involves practicing spiritual maturity, which includes growing in relationship with God, embracing obedience, glorifying Him, and purifying our hearts to become more like Christ.

When we fall into sin or feel weighed down by disappointment, may we ask for forgiveness, turn away from what keeps us distant from God, and walk in faith. Then, praise the mighty hand that lifts us and positions us higher toward healing and wholeness.

Don’t let fear and frustration rule and ruin the day.

Remain standing in your identity in Christ: child of the Most High.

Days past are days of old — aged in decay. But you are alive! Do not get bogged down in despair.

Live as one who is living on purpose and with a purpose.

Warrior, suit up in God’s armor and do not be afraid to praise His name even when the day is hard, the battles are real, and the body is tired.

Remember, the birds begin serenading the day well before the sun rises. May we be like the birds and express our gratitude in the darkness, for we know that the Light of the World cannot be hidden, God’s faithfulness cannot falter, and no one can snatch us from the Father’s hand.

Therefore, do not be timid in faith: Stand your ground in the Word of God as you actively pursue your victory in Christ Jesus!

In this endeavor, you will plant seeds of blessings that bear eternal fruit—fruit meant to be shared—from one imperfect person to another as we navigate the battlefield of this imperfect world.

May we bear witness to blessings on the battlefield this week.
