A very special “Twosday” delivery happened in a Plano hospital on Tuesday, as announced by Medical City Plano on Twitter. Valerie Ruiz, not only gave birth on 2/22/22, but the baby came at 22:22 in military time.
Valerie and her newborn daughter are healthy and recovering well in room 222 of Medical City Plano.
The couple, who named their newly born Hailey, said they felt very lucky — so lucky, in fact, that excited father Zach Ruiz went out to buy lottery tickets.
In North Carolina, another couple’s daughter was born on 2/22/22 at 2:22 a.m.
Judah Grace Spear was born to parents Aberli and Hank Spear at the Alamance Regional Medical Center in North Carolina.
In another fitting coincidence, mom Aberli gave birth in delivery room 2.
