A Dallas Area Rapid Transit bus seemingly popped over a median and crashed into Copart Tower on Saturday.

The vehicle, which had passengers on board, smashed into the north-facing side of the building on Spring Valley Road shortly before 8:30 a.m. near the intersection with Dallas North Tollway. It is currently unclear how many passengers were aboard at the time of the crash.

A reporter for The Dallas Express saw the aftermath of the accident outside Copart Tower, witnessing two individuals get carried out on stretchers by first responders. Video footage from the scene indicates members of the Farmers Branch Police Department and the Farmers Branch Fire Department responded to the incident.

Some of the passengers relied on first responders to exit the bus, seeming unsteady and finding it difficult to walk on their own.

The driver of the bus was the last to exit the vehicle. He was helped out and seemed to have sustained an injury to the leg from the crash.

The Dallas Express reached out to first responders in Farmers Branch as well as DART for more information about the incident.
