A 41-year-old Denton man has been arrested for allegedly soliciting sex from an undercover agent posing as a young girl.

According to CBS 11 News, an undercover agent with the Collin County Child Exploitation Unit (CEU) had placed an ad as a 14-year-old girl seeking babysitting jobs.

The ad stated that the 14-year-old girl needed money for summer camp. After seeing the advertisement, Alan Wilson began texting the undercover agent on March 3.

Soon after Wilson began texting the undercover agent, he communicated his intention to meet for the purpose of having sex.

According to investigators, Wilson told the undercover agent, who he thought was a 14-year-old girl, that he would pay $600 for sex. He instructed the undercover agent to meet him at a local Home Depot parking lot that night.

Deputies arrested Wilson when he arrived at the store lot on March 9.

Wilson has now been charged with online solicitation of a minor and soliciting prostitution from a person below 18 years of age. He is currently being held in the Collin County Detention Facility on a $450,000 bond.
