A shooting on Sunday night has left two people wounded in Uptown Dallas.

Around 8 p.m. on March 27, off-duty officers were working security at Turkey D.A.M, a sports bar on McKinney Avenue, when they heard gunshots.

According to Dallas Police spokesman Officer Juan Fernandez, two men with gunshot wounds came to the officers for aid. Both of the victims were shot in the leg, and one had been shot in the shoulder as well.

Both men were transported to a hospital for treatment.

A section of Fairmount Street just off McKinney was closed off while officers investigated the incident. Detectives interviewed several witnesses in front of the sports bar.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting or stated whether any suspects are in custody.
