Lewisville Police and U.S. Marshals arrested James Williams Dipple, 20, and Clint Dennis Charles Jr., 23, in Dallas on January 25 in connection with the fatal shooting of Viron Ellison, 35, at a Lewisville bar and restaurant called Chill on the morning of December 30, 2021.
Witnesses told Lewisville police that the two suspects drove away from the scene in a silver vehicle.
Authorities said that the suspects were located in a matching vehicle.
During the arrest, officers found a handgun inside the vehicle, which investigators believe was used in the shooting.
Both suspects were being held on alleged murder charges in a Lewisville jail as of January 26.
Their bail has been individually set at $500,000.
Dipple has existing warrants for charges of theft and evading arrest.
