Town of Addison issued the following announcement on July 2
On Wednesday, June 30, Addison staff hosted a group of 20 commercial real estate brokers for a light breakfast and an economic development update. The Economic Development & Tourism Department was joined by Director of Development Services Ken Schmidt, City Manager Wes Pierson, and Deputy City Manager Ashley Mitchell.Â
Guests were provided an overview of new private investments in the community, the Addison Circle redevelopment area, the Sam’s Club Special Area Study, and the Midway Road revitalization project. Staff was able to address questions from the brokers, many of whom represent office buildings and tenants looking for space. Events such as these are held twice a year to help promote the Town and to increase the brokers’ knowledge about Addison.
