Garland Police have arrested three women for allegedly kidnaping a 1-year-old boy at a motel on Sunday.

Garland Police said they arrested Romeisha Brown, Kemberly Suzanne Williams, and Lashonda Price, and all three women are facing kidnapping charges for abducting the boy.

Garland police responded to a kidnapping call on Sunday, Oct. 17, at a motel located in the 1800 block of Northwest Highway.

According to Garland police, the child’s mother told officers she was in a room at the motel when she heard a knock at the door. The woman said she opened the door because she thought it was her friend. Upon opening the door, the woman said she was attacked and overpowered by the three women who came in and took her son.

Garland police also released surveillance footage that showed the three women arriving at the motel in a black SUV just after midnight. The women could be seen waiting at the door of the room for the door to be opened.

The three women entered the room and got out five minutes later, with one of them holding the boy who was wearing only a diaper.

The child’s mother ran after the women and removed their SUV’s front license plate before the three women drove off with her child.

Garland police said they identified the SUV through the license plate, and an officer located the SUV on Northwest Highway near LBJ Freeway in Dallas. Officers stopped the vehicle and found it occupied by a female driver, an 11-year-old child, and a 1-year-old child. Police said the boy was returned to his mother unharmed.

Garland police identified the female driver as Lashonda Price and revealed that she was involved in the boy’s abduction. Price was arrested on a kidnapping charge and was booked into the Dallas County jail on Tuesday, Oct. 19. Her bail was set at $20,000.

Garland police added that Brown turned herself in to authorities at Garland Detention Center about 8 p.m. on Wednesday. At the same time, Kemberly Suzanne Williams was found on Thursday morning at a motel in the 3600 block of Leon Road. Bond has not been set for any of the women.
