Tarrant County Deputies Arrest 22-Year-Old Suspect of Fatal Stabbing

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office has arrested the 22-year-old man accused of fatally stabbing another man on Tuesday night, earlier this week.

According to The Dallas Morning News, deputies arrested Nathan Wayne Spivey, 22, after he allegedly stabbed a man.

As reported by The Dallas Express, county deputies responded to a call at about 9:30 p.m. Responding deputies arrived at the scene, a home in the 12800 block of Oak Grove Road South, a man with multiple stabbing wounds lying on the ground.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office has now identified the victim as Mark Oakley Jr., 41.

Investigators from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office identified 22-year-old Nathan Wayne Spivey as the individual who allegedly stabbed Oakley.

According to The Dallas Morning News, deputies found Spivey in the 12500 block of Oak Grove Road South about 4:15 a.m. on Thursday. Deputies found the 22-year-old crawling through a ditch and took him to the hospital for evaluation.

Nathan Wayne Spivey was taken to a Tarrant County jail, where he remains as of Thursday morning.
