Garland police are on a manhunt for a suspect who fired shots at officers on Tuesday night.

Shortly before 10 p.m., officers investigated the possibility of theft of a Toyota 4Runner seen near North Garland Avenue and Buckingham.

The driver, Aaron Quiroz Jr., led police on a chase to a nearby neighborhood and then got out and initiated shots.

No officers were injured during the ordeal, and Quiroz ran away on foot. The search continues for his whereabouts.

He is described as a 22-year-old Hispanic male, 6 feet tall, weighing 150 pounds. Quiroz was last spotted wearing blue jeans and a blue t-shirt.

If you see the suspect, call 911 immediately. He is considered armed and dangerous.
