Sarah Sandoval Named the Dallas Police Department Officer of The Month

The Meeting Professionals International named a 3-year police veteran, Sarah Sandoval, as the Dallas Police Department’s Officer of the Month.  

According to the DPD Beat, Officer Sarah Sandoval received the Officer of the Month award at a luncheon held at The Warwick Melrose Hotel, where her hard work, tenacity, and dedication were recognized.

Officer Sarah Sandoval is a 3-year-veteran of the Dallas Police Department and currently assigned to the Northwest Patrol Division.

According to The DPD Beat, Sandoval’s coworkers know her as someone easy to work with. Her work ethic also exemplifies her ability to be a strong leader and team member simultaneously.

According to Dallas Police Sergeant James Shivers, Sandoval’s direct supervisor, the 3-year-veteran has shown that she is “dependable” by helping her fellow officers search female prisoners when needed.

Sergeant James Shivers added that Officer Sarah Sandoval’s calm demeanor has been “instrumental in keeping situations from escalating.”

According to The DPD Beat, Sandoval is a proud member of the Dallas Police Honor Guard, a voluntary assignment requiring officers to represent the Dallas Police Department with the highest standards of professionalism. Sandoval is one of few trumpeters playing TAPS at various memorial services and ceremonies in the Honor Guard.
