Officials said a private plane flipped over at Dallas Executive Airport at around 4:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

According to a Dallas Executive Airport spokesperson, the private plane, a fixed-wing, single-engine 1982 CESSNA 210N, had some problems as it was leaving the airport. The aircraft is registered to Spicewood Centurion Partnership in Austin.

The circumstances that caused the plane to flip are still unclear. At the time of the accident, the pilot was the only one aboard the aircraft.

Dallas Fire-Rescue revealed that the call sheet to first responders stated that a plane ran off the runway. Firefighters from Station 49 were the only first responders at the scene since no injuries were reported.

Chris Perry with Dallas Aviation added that the plane flipped over after going off the runway during take-off.

The City of Dallas said the airport, located in the Redbird area, suspended all operations till the scene was cleared.
