Police Search for Suspect in Road Rage Murder

Dallas police are currently on the hunt for a suspect who allegedly shot and killed a 54-year-old man during a road rage incident along a Dallas highway.

According to the DPD Beat, the incident occurred just after 10:04 p.m. on Monday, December 6. Officers were called to a major accident scene at the northbound lanes of the North Central Expressway near the westbound Woodall Rodgers ramp.

Upon arrival, responding officers found the victim, Carl Edmiston, a 54-year-old White male, with a gunshot wound inside his vehicle. Dallas fire rescue responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim’s 17-year-old son, who was with him in the car, was treated for a minor injury to his leg.

According to the DPD Beat, the victim and the suspect had been involved in a road rage incident before the shooting. The suspect, who was driving a dark-colored vehicle, continued driving north on Central Expressway.
