Dallas police are asking for the public’s help in capturing a man accused of a sexual assault that occurred last week in west Oak Cliff.
On Wednesday, January 5, police revealed the sketch of the potential suspect.
Authorities say the victim was assaulted after being held at gunpoint on December 29 while walking in the 3400 block of West Pentagon Parkway, near South Westmoreland Road.
After the sexual assault, the victim was set free about three and a half miles away in the 900 block of South Brighton Avenue.
Police describe the suspect as a “heavy-set” Black male with dreadlocks. He is believed to be between the ages of 30 and 40 years old.
He was last seen wearing a black shirt and shorts and driving a blue, four-door Honda with tinted windows.
