A Dallas police officer was involved in a crash in northwest Dallas on Saturday, October 30, the Dallas Police Department said.
Dallas police said on Sunday that the police officer was injured but had been released from the hospital. According to the department, the officer is now recovering at home.
Per Dallas police, the Northwest Patrol officer had his squad car clipped by another driver while he was responding to an assist call by Dallas Fire-Rescue at 11402 Harry Hines Blvd.
According to police, the other person involved in the crash did not sustain any injuries. Police also said that they remained at the scene.
No other details of the incident have been released. The identity of the officer injured in the crash hasn’t been released to the public.
