Police Looking for Hit-and-Run Driver Who Killed Elderly Woman in Wheelchair

The Duncanville Police Department is on the hunt for a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed an elderly woman on Tuesday, November 2, at about 7:40 p.m.

Duncanville police said the incident happened during a heavy rainstorm in the area of East Wheatland Road and South Cockrell Hill Road. Officers who responded to the scene found an elderly woman in a wheelchair fatally struck by a vehicle.

Police said the hit-and-run driver did not stop to provide aid to the woman.

Police have not released the victim’s identity, and it is not clear if her family has been notified.
