The Dallas Police Department announced that officers are searching for a vehicle involved in a fatal shooting on November 30.

At about 9:50 pm that Tuesday, officers from Dallas PD responded to a call reporting a shooting at an apartment complex on 2880 Peavy Road. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man in the parking lot with a gunshot wound.

Police identified the victim as Mario Mena-Lopez, 33. Mena-Lopez was transferred to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Dallas Police say the murder is under investigation, and detectives are yet to identify a suspect. However, the department is looking for a vehicle that was caught on video that detectives have determined is connected to the fatal shooting. The vehicle in the video appears to be a red or orange two-door sports car.

The Homicide Unit of The Dallas Police Department urges anyone with information about the vehicle to contact them. Informants can reach the department through Detective Theodore Gross, #9896, at 214-671-3134 or via email at [email protected], referencing case number 216634-2021.

Interested tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 214-373-8477. A $5000 reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
