Dallas police responded to a call around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 17 after someone reported that they heard gunshots.
Officers arrived at Cedars neighborhood in the 1100 block of Peters Street, near Griffin Street and Interstate 30, to find the body of a dead man.
The victim’s identity has not been released to the public.
According to the authorities, an investigation into the incident is ongoing. Police were still on the scene of the crime around noon.
