Police have taken into custody three people accused of stealing over $10,000 worth of products from an ULTA beauty store in Allen, as reported by WFAA.

Allen Police arrived at 190 E Stacey Road, Suite 2680, after receiving a call regarding a theft in the ULTA store. According to the authorities, three people stole several baskets of perfume.

The suspects fled the scene, headed southbound on U.S. 75 near Bethany, in a vehicle with no license plates. The vehicle contained three suspects: the driver, a female 16-year-old juvenile, accompanied by an adult male and an adult female.

At U.S. 75 and Rowlett Creek, officers attempted a traffic stop, but the driver allegedly fled, leading police on a chase.

A woman claiming to be the driver’s mother contacted Allen Police dispatch to convince the minor to end the pursuit. After traveling more than 85 miles, the driver pulled over at a Circle K gas station at I-20 and Trade Days Boulevard in Canton, Texas. All three unidentified suspects were arrested in connection with the ULTA merchandise theft and following pursuit.

The teen was charged with eluding arrest, theft over $2,500, and tampering with physical evidence. The two adults face charges of theft over $2,500 and tampering with physical evidence.

The Department of Public Safety, Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, Mesquite Police Department, Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office, and Canton Police Department all aided at some point throughout the incident, according to police.

WFAA reported that another theft occurred at an ULTA beauty store in Rockwall. Officers tried to stop the suspect’s vehicle, but they fled into Dallas. According to police, they currently do not have anyone in custody in connection to the Rockwall theft.
