Three people were arrested in Cedar Hill on March 23 for allegedly firing weapons out of a vehicle.
At about 10:30 p.m., Cedar Hill Police received reports of a series of gunshots taking place across the city.
According to the department, a 911 caller said guns were being fired into the air from a vehicle, which they described to the dispatcher.
Police located a vehicle matching the caller’s description shortly afterward and conducted a high-risk traffic stop.
Officers found three people inside the vehicle, all of whom were arrested.
Authorities also reportedly confiscated multiple handguns, rifles, scopes, magazines, and bullets.
Police have not released the identity of the suspects. However, they noted that the three are not residents of Cedar Hill.
No injuries or property damage were reported. Police also said that the suspects’ arrest was without incident.
