An 18-wheeler struck and killed a woman on I-45 overnight on Tuesday.
Dallas police said an unidentified woman was walking along the outside lanes of northbound I-45 at around 12:45 a.m. when a yellow 2000 Kenworth bobtail truck hit her.
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene with the victim, according to police.
The victim died from her injuries at the scene. No further information was available as of press time.
