A fatal car crash has left one driver dead after two pickups collided in Tarrant County on Tuesday.

According to reports on The Dallas Morning News, deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 12000 block of Old Granbury Road, near Crowley Plover Road, just before 5 a.m.

Responding deputies found two pickups that crashed into each other at the scene. The driver of one of the vehicles died at the scene. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as 33-year-old Isaac Valdez Amador.

The other driver was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover. The second driver’s identity has not been released.

Following the crash, the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office put out a Facebook post announcing that the 12000 block of Old Granbury Road had been temporarily shut down for investigations. Motorists were urged to find an alternate route.

Authorities have not said what led to the accident and did not indicate if charges would be filed against any of the two drivers, and no further information was available.
