A young girl was shot while riding in a car in Oak Cliff on Thursday night, as reported by The Dallas Morning News.
Police say the girl, a 9-year-old, was struck while riding in a car in the northbound lanes of R.L. Thornton Freeway near East Ledbetter Drive at about 7:10 p.m.
Police say the shooter drove off in a gray vehicle.
