Man Wanted for Alleged Murder of Houston Corporal Arrested at Border

U.S. Marshals have arrested the suspect wanted for the January 23 fatal shooting of Houston Deputy Corporal Charles Galloway, 47.

According to previous reporting within The Dallas Express, Galloway was shot and killed as he directed the suspect to pull over for a traffic stop around 12:45 a.m. 

Witnesses claimed the suspect exited his vehicle and fired multiple shots at Galloway.

The suspect then fled the scene.

As reported by The Dallas Express, he was later identified as Oscar Rosales, 51. 

Rosales was arrested on January 26 across the border from Del Rio.

The arrest was a result of collaborative efforts executed by joint operation marshals, Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, and Mexican authorities.

Rosales is now facing a capital murder charge.
