A man was fatally shot near an elementary school in West Dallas on February 16.
Dallas Police responded to a call reporting a shooting on Bayside Street.
They discovered a man who had been shot in the 1900 block of Bickers Street, close to C.F. Carr Elementary School.
The unidentified man was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to the Dallas ISD spokeswoman, Robyn Harris, the school was dismissed before the shooting occurred.
The time of the incident was not specified. No other details have yet been released.
