The DPD Beat reported the shooting of 44-year-old Andre Tyron Rufus in Dallas on Monday.
Around 1:38 p.m. on January 17, police responded to the scene at 2800 West Davis Street.
Dallas officers discovered Rufus lying in the street with gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to the hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue, where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation is underway, and police currently do not know the motive for the shooting.
