A man from Texas has been arrested and charged with capital murder on accusations of fatally shooting two dentists at a clinic.

Investigations by officials at the Smith County Sheriff’s Office put Smith at the clinic that afternoon. According to them, he had an encounter with clinic staff that got him angry. He then went to his pickup truck and got a handgun.
Police say that Smith then returned to the lobby and opened fire on the staff. Two dentists got hit in the gunfire.
Authorities identified the two doctors as 59-year-old Dr. Blake G. Sinclair and 75-year-old Dr. Jack E. Burroughs from Tyler.
Both Sinclair and Burroughs died.
Police say that Smith fled; however, he was eventually arrested at his home.
Smith is at the Smith County jail on a $2.5 million bond.
