A 34-year-old man was taken into custody in Collin County on February 24 after he allegedly attempted to solicit sex from an underage girl online. Unbeknownst to the perpetrator, the “girl” was an undercover police officer from the Collin County Sheriff’s Office Child Exploitation Unit (CEU).

The man, identified as Carlos DelBosque, allegedly offered $150 for sex within 13 minutes of starting the conversation with the CEU investigator, who was posing as a 15-year-old girl.

Deputies arrested DelBosque at a local park where he planned to meet the girl for the sexual act. He was charged with online solicitation and prostitution of a minor.
