Fire crews found the bodies of a man and a dog while they put out a fire that engulfed a portion of an apartment complex in far northeast Dallas on Sunday, November 7. Â Â Â
Firefighters were called to the Eleven-600 Apartments in the 11000 block of Audelia Road, near 635 in Northeast Dallas, around 4 am on Sunday.   Â
The fire crews found heavy fire coming from the roof of the apartment building. Firefighters got the fire under control in about forty-five minutes.   Â
While the firefighters were getting the blaze under control, they found the bodies of a man and a dog in one of the apartments.   Â
The majority of the fire damage was contained to three apartments, while others had smoke and water damage.   Â
Authorities are still investigating how the fire started, but they believe it started in the apartment where firefighters found the man and the dog. Â
