A new high-fashion addition is coming to Highland Park Village as a pop-up shop this fall.

Oscar de la Renta, a New York-based luxury brand, is making its debut in the Lone Star State as the brand opens its first retail location in the suburb outside of Dallas.

Stephen Summers of Highland Park Village shared the excitement buzzing around the shopping center’s new addition.

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Oscar de la Renta to Highland Park Village this fall,” Summers said in a press release. “This esteemed, quintessential brand is the perfect fit for our customer, a fashion House that sets the standard for elegant and elevated dressing. Oscar de la Renta is a great addition to the collection of world-class brands we have at the Village.”

The luxury brand will appear alongside other high-end fashion brands this fall, including KHAITE, an American luxury fashion line, and Chloé, a French luxury brand.

Oscar de la Renta is extremely selective with opening storefront locations, as it currently only operates five storefronts: two in Southern California, one in New York, another in London, and one in Paris. The pop-up shop will allow the well-known brand to expand into one of the country’s wealthiest markets without investing in a permanent location.

Alex Bolen, CEO of Oscar de la Renta, explained the brand’s choice of Highland Park Village for its newest business venture.

“Having admired the unique shopping destination at Highland Park Village for many years, we eagerly anticipate the opening of our pop-up – and hope this marks the beginning of a long relationship with the Highland Park Village community,” Bolen said.

In recent years, the upscale shopping center located outside of Dallas has expanded to include other high-end designer shops, as previously reported by The Dallas Express. However, Highland Park Village still includes traditionally well-known luxury fashion brands such as Chanel, which recently reopened with a revamped retail space.

Oscar de la Renta was established in 1965 and offers products ranging from women’s clothing and accessories to home goods and fragrances. The luxury brand also features a line of bridalwear and a women’s ready-to-wear collection. In November, the store will feature a bridal trunk show, which will include the highly anticipated Fall 2025 Bridal Collection.

The pop-up shop will be located on Preston Road, near Chanel and KHAITE, reported The Dallas Morning News.
