In northern Kaufman County, a large house fire had to be extinguished by six fire departments on March 3, according to Fox 4 News.
Firefighters arrived at the rural Terrell residence on County Road 322A around 9:30 p.m. to an enormous blaze.
The flames were so severe that first responders had to battle the large house fire from the outside.
Tanker truckers brought in water since the fire crew was miles away from the nearest fire hydrant.
Firefighters enlisted the help of fire departments in Terrell, Ables Springs, Elmo, Union Valley, College Mound, and Kaufman County.
Around midnight, the six fire departments were still alternating turns to fight the fire.
No injuries were reported.
An investigation is currently underway on what caused the incident.
