The JW Marriott Dallas Arts District has opened a new steakhouse on the 11th floor, marking the third restaurant to debut at the hotel since its opening in 2023.

The newly opened JW Steakhouse promises to deliver patrons a “decadent meal” while soaking in the Dallas skyline. Expect Texas-style dry-aged steaks alongside craft cocktails made with ingredients from their in-house garden.

“My vision for the JW Steakhouse menu includes modern interpretations of Texan favorites with an emphasis on experience and seasonal ingredients that make Texan cuisine unique,” said Executive Chef Miguel Antonio.

The new restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. A three-course Overture Menu designed for pre-performance dining is also available.

“Dallas knows steak,” said Antonio, per CultureMap Dallas. “But we saw room to evolve the genre. Big cuts, yes — but brushed with garden herbs and butter, paired with artisanal salt flights, finished with garnishes harvested on-site.”

JW Steakhouse collaborates with several local farms and farmers, including Heartbrand Ranch, 44farms, and Profound Microfarms.

The menu features cocktails such as Hibiscus Haze, crafted with Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, hibiscus simple syrup, egg whites, and lemon. The ‘Bar Bites’ section includes mouth-watering items like truffle fries, Blackhawk Farm meatballs, cheddar cheese hushpuppies, crispy duck wings, and brisket empanadas.

The dinner menu features starters such as crispy octopus and seared crab cake, as well as premium cuts of steak, including the Allen Brothers porterhouse and Rancher Reserve ribeye.

“It’s an exciting time to be cooking in Dallas, where the entire scene is becoming more elevated and sophisticated,” said Antonio.

“My vision is to create approachable dishes that continue our tradition of sustainable farm to fork cuisine, starting with classic ingredients and introducing new globally inspired flavors and methods to create dining experiences that are fresh, compelling, and memorable for our guests.”
