It’s My Park Day Returns

Dallas’ annual park beautification event, It’s My Park Day, will soon return to the DFW area.

Dallas Parks and Recreation’s It’s My Park Day is set to return on April 22. This free community event is set to occur from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will feature 14 different park locations across the City of Dallas for citizens to help keep Dallas parks beautiful.

Participants will have the opportunity to weed, mulch, plant flowers, and remove litter from any of the participating parks.

Here are the locations participating in It’s My Park Day:

Orbiter Park 

Valley View Park 

Timberglen Park 

Marcus Park 

Registration for the event officially closes on April 21.

It’s My Park is one of several upcoming events that the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department has planned for the month of April.

The department is also set to celebrate Earth Day at the annual EarthX Expo on April 21. The Earth Day Expo is the world’s largest gathering of environmental organizations, businesses, government agencies, and more on the topic of environmental awareness.

This year’s expo will occur at Fair Park and will feature live music, food, art, and more. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free, but prospective guests are encouraged to register, so they can make use of a custom planner.
