Highway Shooting Incident Being Investigated by Police

Royse City Police arrested three people on March 6 in connection with an incident on I-30. Two vehicles participated in a highway shooting while they drove.  

Rockwall Police officers responded to a report of a disturbance between three vehicles. According to police, multiple people called 911 and told authorities that the suspects in two vehicles were shooting at each other while they drove westbound on I-30.

One of the vehicles, a silver Kia SUV, caused a crash on Ridge Road under the bridge after exiting the highway shooting altercation. 

Police say that as responding officers arrived at the scene, three suspects tried to flee on foot. Two of them were apprehended immediately, and the third was found nearby.

A Rockwall County Deputy stopped the second vehicle involved in the highway shooting, a Dodge Challenger, at Dalrock and I-30.

After investigating the incident, police arrested three suspects and charged them with various offenses.

David Bullard, the driver of the silver Kia SUV, is charged with an Accident Involving a Vehicle for fleeing the scene of the accident in Rockwall. The charge is a Class B Misdemeanor.

Kordell Tezeno, the driver of the Dodge Challenger, is charged with Deadly Conduct for his actions of firing at other motorists. The charge is a Third-Degree Felony.

Tommy Alvarado, the back seat passenger in the silver Kia SUV, was arrested for firing at the passengers of the Dodge Challenger. Alvarado is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a First-Degree Felony.

Additional details about the highway shooting are unknown. The Royse City Police Department says that the incident is still under investigation.
