A high-speed crash near the White Rock Lake spillway has left one juvenile dead with another three injured.

According to Dallas Police, the incident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. on January 22 in the 8100 block of Garland Road.

After going off the roadway, the juvenile driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a light pole. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to reports from FOX 4 News.

There were three passengers in the vehicle. Two of them were injured and were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, FOX 4 News said.

The third passenger was also injured, but Dallas police said the passenger was in stable condition. All the passengers were Juveniles, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Dallas police did not reveal the identity of the juveniles.

Dallas police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
