Dallas will soon have a new upscale steakhouse when restaurateur Joseph Palladino opens his latest project later this year.

Palladino’s Steak & Seafood is slated to open in winter 2025 at 5959 Royal Ln in the former Spec’s space in North Dallas. The concept expands Palladino’s restaurant portfolio, which already includes the Coal Vines pizza chain and Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse on Maple Ave.

Palladino has not always been a restaurateur. In his former life, the busy entrepreneur was a police officer with the NYPD. These days, however, he manages his growing fleet of tasty eateries.

Dallas is not the only city getting a Palladino’s Steak & Seafood. New York will also be getting a location, set to open in the former Michael Jordan Steakhouse at Grand Central Terminal.

Palladino has been serving up dishes in Dallas since 1998, when he partnered with Phil Romano to open Nick & Sam’s. His latest creation will open in Preston Royal, after the landlords approached Palladino to bring one of his restaurants to the center.

We do not yet know exactly what Palladino’s Steak & Seafood will serve, but the name at least gives us a hint.

Palladino says to expect “high-quality steaks and seafood, along with some of my trademark specials and Italian dishes,” per CultureMap Dallas.
