Dallas teens will once again enjoy free admission to the State Fair of Texas starting in 2026, after park officials secured the fair’s participation in the city’s Teen All Access Pass program.
The announcement, shared by Dallas Park Board member Rudy Karimi, marks a significant win for local students seeking affordable entertainment options.
Mitchell Glieber, president of the State Fair of Texas, confirmed the decision in an email to park officials.
“We look forward to making this opportunity available to the Dallas teens that participate, and we hope that our participation might lead to increased growth in the overall program,” Glieber wrote, Fox 4 KDFW reported.
The Teen All Access Pass provides Dallas Independent School District students with free or discounted entry to cultural and recreational venues citywide. Park board member Karimi, who represents City Council District 14, called the program “wildly successful” in expanding youth access to local attractions.
John D. Jenkins, Dallas Park and Recreation director, led advocacy efforts to bring the State Fair back into the program. The fair’s ticketing and marketing teams will coordinate with city staff to share enrollment details before the 2026 season begins.
Specific ticketing procedures and fair dates remain pending. Officials expect to release full participation guidelines in the months ahead.
The State Fair of Texas attracts millions of visitors annually to its Fair Park grounds. Student admission typically costs around $25 per day during the three-week event.
