The Dallas Express reported on the Highland Hills Apartment explosion that resulted in the injury of multiple civilians and four firefighters. One of the injured firefighters was released from Parkland Hospital on Monday, according to a news report by NBC 5.
Capt. Christopher Gadomski is the fourth and final member of Dallas Fire-Rescue to be discharged from the hospital following the devastating explosion.
Gamdoski was being treated at Parkland Hospital for burns and undisclosed lower extremity injuries. According to Dallas Fire-Rescue officials, Gamdoski was transferred to an inpatient rehabilitation unit to continue his recovery.
Gamdoski has been with the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department since April 1999.
All four of the injured firefighters came from Fire Station 25, as they were responding to the reports of a gas leak that resulted in the explosion. Official Pauline Perez was discharged from the hospital earlier this month after receiving treatment in the burn unit for more than two weeks.
Engineer Ronald Hall was released last week and, like Gamdoski, was transferred to an inpatient rehabilitation unit to continue his recovery. Officer Andrew Curtis, who sustained a foot injury, was discharged the same day the explosion happened.
