Jeffrey Epstein paid more than $28,000 in tuition to the Dallas-based Texas Torah Institute, newly-unearthed records show.

The Texas Torah Institute, a Jewish boys’ school, accepted $28,150 total in three separate tuition checks from Epstein from July 2008 to August 2009, according to new documents from the Department of Justice.

The Texas Torah Institute is a private, Jewish boys’ school founded in 2003. It is located off Frankford Road in Dallas and aims to provide students with “classic Yeshiva learning.”

One tuition check was for $3,000 in July 2008, another was for $10,750 in September 2008, and the last was for $14,400 in August 2009.

“Until the recent release by the Justice Department of over 3 million documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation… Texas Torah Institute (‘TTI’) was unaware of any potential connection with Epstein,” wrote Rabbi Eliyahu Kaufman, according to The Dallas Morning News.

The checks were all apparently signed by Epstein’s then-accountant, Harry Beller. They also listed Epstein’s account at 6100 Red Hook Quarter, Suite B3, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. This is the same address as Epstein’s corporation, Nautilus Inc., which owns the notorious pedophile hub, Little Saint James Island, according to the territory’s government. It is also the address of Epstein’s corporation, Great St. Jim LLC, which he used in 2016 to purchase the lesser-known Great Saint James Island.

The Origins and Unfolding of Epstein’s Sex Trafficking Case

This investigation stemmed from a complaint in March 2005, when the parents of a 14-year-old girl told officers with the Palm Beach Police Department that Epstein paid her for a sexual massage, according to NPR. Investigators gathered more allegations from underage girls, who revealed he sexually abused them at his mansion – potentially as early as 2002.

A Palm Beach County jury charged Epstein on one state count for solicitation of prostitution, but Palm Beach police referred the case to the FBI, claiming his crimes were more widespread.

In July 2007, members of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida met with Epstein’s lawyers, according to NPR. They offered to end the investigation in exchange for pleading guilty to two state charges and a prison term, registering as a sex offender, and offering monetary relief to victims. This included a “nonprosecution agreement,” giving immunity to Epstein and his co-conspirators.

In the summer of 2008 – the same timeframe as the first tuition check – Epstein pleaded guilty to solicitation of prostitution and solicitation of prostitution of a minor. He was sentenced to 18 months in a minimum-security facility and required to register as a sex offender.

The DOJ charged Epstein again in 2019 for sex trafficking minors and abusing dozens of minor girls. He died in jail; investigators claim he committed suicide. Since then, the case has implicated dozens of high-powered figures across the globe.

Epstein alledgely brought Eastern European models associated with French sex trafficker Jean-Luc Brunel from the Caribbean to the United States, as The Dallas Express previously reported. Brunel’s agencies often sponsored models through the H-1B system. Epstein also used the H-1B system to bring in Ghislaine Maxwell, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison for helping Epstein procure and abuse young girls.
