As reported by the Dallas Express, police were investigating the death of a woman struck by a vehicle on State Highway 121 Tuesday evening. During the investigation, a motorist crashed into a fire truck at the scene.
Officers with the Grapevine Police Department were dispatched to the 500 block of northbound Highway 121, near Bass Pro Drive, after the department received reports that a woman had been struck by a vehicle.
Officers remained at the scene to investigate the incident into midnight, and about 1 a.m., a motorist nearby crashed into a Grapevine Fire Department truck.
No one was injured in the crash, police say. Police arrested the driver and charged him with DWI (driving while intoxicated).
Police have not released the name of the driver.
