Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) announced on January 21 that bus routes 2, 11, 12, 26, 35, 110, 111, and 164 would be on detour during the South Oak Cliff Championship Parade in downtown Dallas Saturday, January 22. The parade is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Detours start at approximately 9 a.m. and continue until the parade’s conclusion.
Bus detours, according to DART, are as follows:
Route 2:
Inbound: From Ervay, left on Canton, right on Lamar to regular route.
Outbound: From Central Business District (CBD) West, left on Live Oak to East Transfer Center, regular route.
Route 11:
Outbound: From CBD West, right on Griffin, right on Elm, left on Lamar, right on Wood to regular route.
Route 12:
Eastbound: From Commerce, right on Lamar into Botham Jean, left on Cadiz into Marilla, left on Cesar Chavez, right on Commerce to regular route.
Westbound: From Good Latimer, right on Commerce, left on Malcolm X, left on Elm to regular route.
Route 26:
Outbound: From CBD West, right on Elm, left on Lamar, left on Cadiz, right on Akard, regular route.
Inbound: From Cedars Station, left on Belleview, right on Botham Jean, continue to CBD West.
Route 35:
Westbound: From Harwood, right on Commerce, left on Malcolm X, left on Elm to regular route.
Eastbound: From Commerce, left on Lamar, left on Cadiz, right on Harwood to regular route.
Routes 110 and 111:
Outbound: From CBD West, right on Elm, left on Lamar, left on Cadiz, left on Cesar Chavez, right on Commerce, left to I-45, regular route.
Inbound: From I-45, exit Elm to regular route.
Route 164:
Outbound: From Lamar, right on Elm, left on Lamar, left on Cadiz, left on Cesar Chavez, right on Commerce, left on I-45, regular route.
Inbound: From I-45, exit Elm to regular route.
