Dallas Water Utilities customers will experience a 12-hour service outage on Sunday, as online and phone payment systems will be offline for maintenance.
The scheduled downtime runs from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m., affecting both the DallasGo platform and telephone payment options.
The timing could catch weekend bill-payers off guard, particularly those who rely on digital payment methods. City officials are directing customers to physical payment locations as an alternative during the maintenance window.
The City of Dallas posted the alert in both English and Spanish, acknowledging the inconvenience to customers.
“Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience,” the notice stated.
Alternative payment locations remain available throughout the city during the system downtime. Customers can find a complete list of DWU payment stations at bit.ly/DWUPayStations.
The maintenance affects only electronic payment systems. In-person payment locations will operate normally during their regular Sunday hours.
Spanish-speaking customers received the same notification, ensuring broad awareness across Dallas communities. The bilingual approach reflects the city’s diverse population and commitment to accessible service communications.
This marks one of several planned maintenance windows for Dallas municipal services this year. The advance notice gives customers time to plan their payment schedules accordingly.
