Update: Sunday afternoon, June 29, 2025, Dallas police reported that Robinson had been found, but did not provide any further details. However, social media user Moni Rob, who said she is the granddaughter of the missing woman, wrote that a tip from the public helped police find Robinson. She explained that her grandmother had just moved to the area and “got turned around.”  “I  THANK ALL OF YALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR SHARING THIS POST AND FOR ALL THE WELL WISHES TO GET HER BACK HOME SAFELY!!” she posted on Facebook.

Dallas police have issued a critical alert for a missing 72-year-old woman last seen Sunday morning near Ross Avenue, just north of downtown.

Cassandra Lee Robinson was last spotted around 8:30 a.m. on June 29 in the 4300 block of Ross Avenue. Authorities say she was walking in an unknown direction and has not been seen since.

Robinson is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, green leggings, and striped socks. Police have not indicated whether she had a cell phone or identification with her at the time of her disappearance.

Officials have not released details about whether Robinson suffers from medical conditions or cognitive impairment, but her age and unknown direction of travel have prompted the Critical Missing designation.
