Dallas PD Seizes Drugs and Guns During Search

The Dallas Police Department announced the seizure of several guns and a supply of drugs while executing a search warrant.

According to a post on The DPD beat, the Dallas PD’s Narcotics Section, SWAT Team, Gang Unit, Northwest Crime Response Team, and patrol officers made a combined effort to execute a search warrant on Thursday, Oct. 7, at approximately 7:15 p.m.

The search warrant was executed in the 11500 block of Webb Chapel Road in northwest Dallas. The search resulted in the seizure of around $9,000 cash, 265.2 grams of marijuana, thirty-six grams of heroin, and over five grams of crack cocaine.

Dallas police also seized nine long guns and two handguns, with one suspect arrested. The Dallas PD has not revealed the identity of the individual.

The DPD post stated that the operation’s success was due to the “efforts and diligent hard work” of several department divisions.
