Dallas Love Field opened a full-time United Service Organizations (USO) center on March 1.

Love Field and the USO have partnered before to aid basic trainees traveling home to visit their families for the holidays.

Now, the new USO center provides active duty, reserve, and guard members with a place to relax while traveling. Their families also have access to the facility.

The USO-DAL center will offer a comfortable environment for the service members to connect with loved ones, relax, or have a snack. The center will be staffed by volunteers and USO staff.

Mark Duebner, Department of Aviation director, shared that setting up a permanent center has been a long-time goal for authorities, as they desired to provide service members with the comfort they deserve while traveling through Love Field.

The new USO-DAL center is located near Dallas Cowboys Club and Creative Kidstuff. The center will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
