Dallas residents are speaking out about issues with internet service and the consistent outages that have taken place across the city.
A Dallas resident posted on the Ring Neighborhood application on Thursday to detail the outage and question whether other residents were dealing with similar issues.
“Anyone has Spectrum outage? Our internet service has been down the whole day due to service outage,” stated the original post.
Many posted to corroborate the lack of service in the area, with various posts stating that they were also dealing with issues and that the outage had been ongoing for several days.
“Yes, mine has been on and off the last week,” stated one of the commenters.
Another commenter claimed that they have continually dealt with issues since using Spectrum.
“Terrible service! They never give full credit for amount of time they don’t provide service. Plus, a fiasco of taking all the boxes w/our recordings, then returning to get those and providing old boxes again. Not our original w/ all the recordings we made!” wrote one user in the comment section.
One neighbor recommended that the original poster change to a different service, writing that they were “tired of seeing yall post something every other day,” indicating that this is a consistent issue in the Dallas area.
“But believe me when I tell u this was me a year ago! Switched to AT&T and never looked back,” they added.
The original poster logged back in to make an update hours after the post was initially made, writing that the service was “still down” and the outage was “getting ridiculous.”
