On Sunday February 13, Dallas Fire-Rescue battled a fire for nearly four hours in Far North Dallas.

When the rescuers arrived close to 2 a.m. at Frankford and Preston Roads, they discovered smoke rising from the back of the house.

Firefighters had to extinguish the fire from the outside after the blaze spread to the attic. They contained it around 6:20 a.m.

No one was injured in the incident. The two residents at home were able to escape safely.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
