Upon learning about a criminal organization last summer, the Dallas Police Department’s Southwest Patrol Division Crime Response Team (CRT)/Deployment Unit began a collaborative investigation with the help of multiple Dallas law enforcement units and Homeland Security.

Under the street name of “Brotha Hood Soljas” or “BHS,” the organization is allegedly responsible for narcotics trafficking, weapons violations, aggravated kidnapping, and injury to a child. The group allegedly boasted about their crimes on social media.

“While looking for an active warrant, officers discovered the social media posts and began investigating the group,” said Dallas Public Information Officer Michael Dennis to The Dallas Express.

Investigators conducted several interviews, obtained arrest and search warrants, and formed a plan to stop the offenders.
