City of Seagoville issued the following announcement on July 7
On 07/04/2021, At approximately 1:30 am, Seagoville police responded to a major accident involving a utility vehicle (UTV)/ side be side. Two adults males and a child were riding in the UTV when it overturned. One of the adult males was treated for unknown injuries at an area hospital. The child sustained a massive head wound and was air lifted in Children’s Hospital in Dallas where the child later died. The tragic accident is still under investigation.
