City of Lewisville issued the following announcement on May 28

Lewisville Grand Theater is lifting COVID-19 mandated capacity restrictions and returning to full attendance capacity at all shows beginning Tuesday, June 1.

Capacity limits based on six-foot social distancing guidelines have been in place at The Grand since its pandemic reopening in mid-June 2020. Restoring full capacity at The Grand is made possible by strong vaccination rates in Denton County and recent lessening of restrictions recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Going back to full capacity allows rental clients and City-produced programming the ability to increase ticket sales for each event and allows for increased participation of casts. Rental clients can still limit their capacities within their rental space or require other pandemic-related requirements.

Masks are not required to enter The Grand, but anyone who feels more comfortable with a mask or has not been fully vaccinated is strongly encouraged to wear one.

For now, The Grand staff plan to continue most pandemic-related cleaning regimes including wiping down doors handles and other highly touched surfaces, sanitizing sensitive equipment, and sanitizing seats between shows.

The Grand is Lewisville’s home for the arts. It presents a variety of regional and national touring performers, art exhibits, and classes, while also giving the many arts groups in the greater Lewisville area a facility to perform and display their works. Its multiple performance spaces play host to a variety of events, including live music, theater, dance performances, comedy shows, and more. The center features a 294-seat performance hall, black box theater, recital hall, art gallery, and courtyard.

To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center.
